Who does not know Harry Potter? Whether through novels or movies, we all sooner or later have heard of the adventures of the famous boy wizard.
For fans, but in general for all those who want to explore the set design for the films of the saga, May 12 opened at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, the traveling exhibition that has already excited the whole world, Harry Potter: The Exhibition , which will remain open until 9 September. The exhibition is open Monday from 15 to 22. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 to 22. Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 23. Tickets from € 15.
Already arriving in the city, in some strategic points, there are large reproductions of some famous objects such as the flying broom Nimbus 2000 and the speaking hat. Inside the spaces follow a logical path through the locations of the films: they are visboth the costumes and the props, in the context of the magical places of Hogwarts and London. I was immediately struck by the details of the costumes and the objects: really nothing was left to chance, every fabric was faithfully reproduced with respect to the descriptions of the novels and every character reproduced also has the finest details. For example, Dobby, the house-elf friend of the protagonists, has every detail of the skin so precise as to seem true, it is expected that at any moment you start talking!
The most precious props are also wonderful, such as the Gryffindor sword, which is studded with precious gems or the Corvonero diadem, which looks like a historical relic.
Of course for the little ones there are also moments of animation, since they immediately live the sorting ceremony, in which they are assigned to a Hogwarts house and then it is possibleand take part in the lessons of extraordinary subjects such as herbology or potions in which the children are led by professors on the creation of special concoctions or on the repotting of magic plants.
I grew up with Harry, Ron and Hermione, have marked my childhood and my growth, so I am very attached to this saga, but I recommend the experience even to those who are not too passionate, because it is wonderful to be screened for a day in a world of magic and fun!
